L'Arpeggiata: La embarazada del viento. (CD. Los Pájaros Perdidos)
Hace algún tiempo os hablé de L'Arpeggiatta un magnifico grupo de música antigua liderado por Christine Pluhar y que cuenta en sus CD's y conciertos con colaboraciones de artistas muy importantes, Philippe Jarouski, Marco Beasiley, The King Singers, Pepe Habichuela y Nuria Rial, entre otros. Su último CD, Los Pájaros Perdidos, está dedicado a la música de Sudamerica y es especialmente hermoso, ameno y muy variado.Como siempre canciones muy conocidas ( Bésame Mucho, Duerme, duerme Negrito, Pájaro Campana, Alfonsina y el Mar, etc) con un toque personal y moderno, de un gusto exquisito. De entre todos os animo a escuchar esta divertida canción tradicional venezolana: La embarazada del viento interpretada por Luciana Mancini - L'Arpeggiata (adjunto la letra). Es un buen regalo ( y seguro) para alguien especial.

Portishead es el nombre de un grupo musical británico formado en Bristol en 1991 catalogados como una de las propuestas más importantes del llamado sonido Bristol o trip hop.
La banda fue formada en 1991 por el teclista Geoff Barrow y la cantante Beth Gibbons que tomaron el nombre de la localidad natal de Barrow, situada a 15 km al oeste de Bristol. Barrow había trabajado anteriormente con otras dos bandas de Bristol, Massive Attack y Tricky. "Third" es el tercer Álbum de estudio(2008) y supone una madurez en su sonido que se separa de sus propuestas primigenias.
